Firefox Extensions

A quick mention of some cool Firefox extensions that I've installed recently:
  • IE Tab -- view predefined websites in IE... why? ... because they don't work correctly in Firefox (maybe ... not YET). I currently use this on at least a couple *work* websites.
  • FireFTP -- FTP right from a Firefox tab. Very cool.
  • Download Statusbar -- get a status bar at the bottom of your Firefox client each time you download a file. Simple. Cleans up that extra download pop-up box.
Honorable mention:
  • Tab Mix Plus -- can't say enough about it. Can't imagine life without all the extra tab options, like double-click to close and undo close. And there are many more.
  • Foxmarks -- Sync your Firefox bookmarks with an online version. Simple, and essential when setting up new machines or when you need a bookmark but not on your personal machine.
